Accreditation is very important especially when studying specialized class such as an Educational degree. Next, you should inquire about the tuition fees and if there are miscellaneous charges. Online schools are to charge fees in line with conventional colleges, or sometimes, even lower. These are the basic things to ask your school.

You should also know about the teaching techniques and experiences of your online mentors. You would like to learn from professors with PhD’s or at least an M.A. Degree. Distance education professors should have the same qualifications as those of the traditional professors. Are the professors assigned one-one-one to students? Online education degrees will need as much on-on-one time with the professors as possible so make sure they do so. Knowing the curriculum is also necessary. You should know the scope of your program and if there will be textbooks you should avail. If so, make sure you include the cost of the books into your total expenses for your online education. Finally, inquire on how long the source will take you and if you can work at your own pace or not with regards to papers you are to submit.
